WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE CHANGEONFIRE CHALLENGE?

 I needed a change in my workout routine, I needed that extra push in changing how I eat and having a support group with someone to provide that motivation is where ChangeOnFire comes in.  She is always positive and the best motivator about becoming a better you! 

WHAT HAVE YOU GAINED FROM THE EXPERIENCE?

Better insight into a positive weight loss, portion size and control.  The idea of losing weight is always overwhelming but being in ChangeOnFire creates a positive feeling.  The goal is a healthier you.

WHAT STRUGGLES OR CHALLENGES HAVE YOU OVERCOME?

My biggest is portion control, working out and the motivation to get fit I have.  My hardest thing still is portion control and the desire to eat one bite of cake. Haha again the idea of creating a healthier you to me is always the end goal.

FAVORITE WORKOUT? 

Yoga, even though cardio is where I get the best sweat on.  I enjoy feeling relaxed, in control of myself and working on my flexibility. 

FAVORITE GO-TO HEALTHY FOODS? 

Protein bars or protein shake.  When out in public and I need a snack I always go with something with higher protein.  May not be the best but I at least know it will hold me the longest till my next meal. 

HOW DO YOU KEEP YOURSELF MOTIVATED?

 The desire to look good and feel good.  I know by eating healthier and working out regularly I get that physical and emotional feeling of look good, feel good.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF NOW?

I feel better than I did a year ago but I still have some room for improvement. 

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO’S JUST STARTING OUT ON HIS/HER HEALTH AND FITNESS JOURNEY?

 Just start, you will have days you cheat with food or you skip the gym.  It happens.  The thing to keep in mind is to just do your best, have more good days then bad because you will see those changes.
